How do we handle Money?
All the Donations we receive are utilised to advance our cause.
The raised funds serve to pay salaries, services and for the resources we need to operate and develop USEE projects and initiatives, so we can advance on our roadmap. All donations that exceed the budgeted amount for our next phase of development will be utilised to acquire land and facilitate our subsequent phases of development.
TAXES
In Portugal, all Donations subject to VAT. The normal rate for private companies is 23%, but the applicable tax is individually calculated in relation to the company's overall success of the current, and previous tax year.
TRANSACTION FEES
We operate with trustworthy partners to facilitate different kinds of payment methods and avoid surprises. The individual transaction fee depends on the location of the Donor and the payment method that is chosen.

Does anyone receive Bonuses from the Donations USEE receives?
No! While we make sure that we are able to care for our team by providing adequate support and workspaces, bonuses will only be granted when we achieve a profit through our own income streams.

Your donation will be made to Unite and Support Ecology and Economy - USEE, Lda., henceforth USEE.
DEFINITIONS

Donation: any asset, including any monetary amount, gifted by a Donor, Patron, Supporter or Sponsor to Unite and Support Ecology and Ecology - USEE, Lda., by means of electronic authorisation through the website of USEE or otherwise.

Donor: a natural or legal person who donates, has donated or will donate a Donation to USEE. This includes sponsors, supporters, pledgers, patrons and similar.

Goal: USEE is committed to creating, developing and presenting alternative ways of operation across sectors, pushing future development to new heights. It is our mission to re-design our socio-economic system and create circumstances in which people, societies and ecosystems can thrive together. APPLICABILITY

These General Terms and Conditions apply to every Donation.

By making a Donation, the Donor agrees with these Donation Terms and Conditions as well as the General Terms and Conditions.

USEE uses the personal data of each Donor to process its Donation. The Privacy and Cookie Notice of USEE applies to the processing of this personal data by USEE.
DONATIONS

By making a Donation, a Donor agrees that USEE and any and all (future) subsidiaries and/or affiliates of USEE are entitled to use a Donation at their own discretion, within the scope of the Goal and the articles of statutes of USEE. Should you have specific wishes as to what you'd like to finance, please reach out to us under mail@usee.global before making your contribution.

A Donation is irrevocable.

All Donations are subject to transaction fees as per payment method (usually included in donated amount).

All Donations are subject to taxes as foreseen by Portuguese legislations.

Recurring donations can be cancelled by contacting us through our website, and by cancelling the payment order for future payments at your bank/payment provider anytime.

USEE will provide any Donor with a donation certification upon written request by the Donor, sent to us by email or through our contact form. Please allow for some processing time, we do our best to comply with your request in a timely manner.
FINAL PROVISIONS

The court of Serpa has exclusive jurisdiction to judge all disputes which arise between USEE and a Donor concerning a Donation.

Portuguese law applies to all Donations, as well as USEE's General Terms and Conditions.
